Enhance filtering - allow filtering by number fields

This seems like it should be a fundamental part of the system. The ability to filter your ticket view is a powerful tool to find what's important.


Certain tickets are more important than others based on their overall financial impact on any organization. In our case, we assign a dollar value to a ticket using a number field so we can manage a pipeline and identify high-value opportunities or liabilities.

 

When viewing all tickets it would be a significant benefit to be able to filter all tickets that have a value range.


A typical filter for us would be by "Product" with a status of "Open" in the last "60 Days" with a value of over "100,000"


The filer should allow for a "Value" field to filter results for any ticket with a number field by greater than, less than, equal to or between the value of that field.

Many thanks for sharing your need for filtering ticket based on the values in a number field from the list page.

Our product team would like to keep the ticket list page as simple and clean for the agents to use.


Having said that, We are happy to check with this our Analytics team if such a smart filtering could be implemented in the future at a reporting level.

We shall keep you posted with more details on this.
